Minutes:

The proposal sought planning permission for the demolition of existing sheds and small commercial buildings and erection of business units for E(g) B2 and B8 use and associated car parking and yard. The application had been referred to the Committee as the discretion of the Chief Planning Officer, as the development was of a significant nature being major development in the Green Belt.

Members’ attention was brought to the main agenda papers and late observation sheet which did not amend the recommendation.

It was moved by the Chairman and duly seconded that the recommendations within the report, be agreed.

Members discussed the application.

The motion was put to the vote and it was

Resolved:  That planning permission be granted subject to the following conditions:

a)            Referralof the application to the Secretaryof State asmajor development inthe GreenBelt, todecide whetherto callthe application in; and

 

b)           Theconditions listed below:

 

1)        Thedevelopment herebypermitted shallbe begunbefore theexpiration of three years from the date of this permission.

 

In pursuanceof section91 ofthe Townand CountryPlanning Act 1990.

3)        The developmenthereby approvedshall onlybe used for purposesfalling within Classes B2, B8 and E (g) and for no other purpose (including any other purpose in ClassE ofthe Scheduleto theTown andCountry Planning(Use Classes)Order 1987 (as amended)), (or in any provision equivalent to that Class in any statutory instrumentrevoking andre-enacting thatOrder withor without modification).

 

In order that the implications of an alternative use of the site is the subject of a separate application to be determined on itsmerits, having regard to the impact on highway conditionsas supportedby PolicyT1 ofthe SevenoaksAllocations and Development Management Plan.
